He Is Flawless

Manish Chaudhari is a simple man. He is the kind of man, who doesn’t harp on his talent, but makes sure to put up a fantastic act nonetheless. Hailing from Delhi, Manish shifted to Mumbai in 1995, to make a career in films. With no backing in Bollywood films, he made his way to the top, all on his own.

Having made his Bollywood debut with the film Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula starring Milind Soman and Meera Vasudevan, Manish made everyone sit up and take notice of him.

He is a man of multiple personalities… Wonder why we say that? Well, whatever role he decides to enact, he embodies the perfect personality and characteristics for it. A very interesting example of that is his performance in the film Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year. His role of Sunil Puri made us hate him and love him at the same time. The viciousness and the overall mean attributes that his character needed were perfectly emoted by Chaudhari.

After playing Puri’s character in Rocket Singh, success evaded Manish for a while. Sure, we saw him in a few popular roles like Mangal Singh in Jannat 2, but nothing that could last forever in our memories.

However, in 2010, Band Baaja Baaraat saw the talented Manish (in his character of Businessman Sidhwani), play the mediator in between Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh’s characters. It is the wedding of Sidhwani’s daughter in the film that brings together ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ once again. If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have enjoyed the Bitto-Shruti romance chapter, as much as we did. J

The tables turned once again for him, with his recently films. His performances in Bombay Velvet and Mohenjo Daro were applauded, even if the films didn’t do well at the box office.

Television is a great medium to connect with the masses and Manish did get a chance of that with his work in the serial P.O.W-Bandi Yuddh Ke. His performance as a strict army official has been winning him accolades all over.

In his over a decade career, Manish has a body of work that is truly marvellous and gives the audience a view of his flexibility to fit into any character that he wants. The range of his talent surpasses audience expectations of him.

His work in the upcoming film Noor too looks impressive, by the trailer alone. Check the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet.
