In 1999, the Star Plus Channel was airing a television show called Star Bestsellers.  Anurag Kashyap, an ambitious actor and writer then, called up the channel for work, on the advice of his brother.  Having written three scripts for Ram Gopal Varma, including Satya, the channel immediately responded positively and gave him a platform to showcase his film. That is how Last Train to Mahakali came into existence. Interestingly, only ‘Channel V’ had a digital video camera at that time. And Kashyap managed to borrow the camera by luring the cameraman for a role in his film.

Now that you know the interesting facts about the film, watch Last Train to Mahakali, the story of a doctor who claims to have found a permanent cure for viral diseases.
